Management support in a complex world
Steve George has 33 years of experience in the Aerospace industry, working on a wide range of programmes, change projects and industry collaborations. He has an exceptionally broad experience of developing solutions to cross-functional issues affecting engineering, purchasing, health, safety and environment (HS&E) across a global enterprise. In recent years Steve has developed an industry-recognised expertise in the management of chemicals and associated legislation such as EU REACH, and the impact of the UK’s exit from the EU on this.
Steve has chaired cross-industry consortia, trade association working groups, and a charity board of trustees. He has operated as a board director and officer in an international industry body. He holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance, at a distinction level. Steve is also a parish councillor (local government electee).
In recent years, he has had extensive practical experience of working with governmental authorities in both the UK and EU, and with industry executive leaders. Steve has a reputation for breaking down complex issues into a form that is both communicable and relevant to the audience.
Steve can provide support to companies, trade associations and regulators on a tailored and confidential basis in accordance with the customer needs; whether on a daily/weekly rate basis or fixed cost work package basis.
